The TB Indicator is a Game-Changer for Tennis

In many sports, the speed of the game is very quick, so sometimes we miss a certain action within a blink of an eye. In other cases, actions can be so detailed that we cannot physically see it. For example, when a ball was out of bounds since it hit the foul line, did it really hit the foul line? The TB Indicator can help this situation for tennis games as their tennis balls use sensors that provide accurate line calls. This changes the game for tennis players around the world.

TB Indicator is a system that provides accurate line calls to tennis players using sensors and chips embedded within tennis balls. This can determine the accuracy of line calls and ensure fairness in a tennis match. It will also allow the match to be quicker and more efficient, and even enhance player performance as it prevents them from getting frustrated.

The business' motto, "Chip It to Win It" shows their promise in how TB Indicator can resolve player conflicts, leading to better performance in a game.

Founder & CEO Amanda Braga

Amanda Braga, an 18-year old from New Bedford, Massachusetts, is the CEO and founder of TB Indicator. Amanda thought of this business after taking a NFTE course at her high school, where they provide entrepreneurship training and education programs. She thought of issues that she wanted to fix, and with her previous involvement in tennis, she was able to think of TB Indicator. She competed in the NFTE National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge this past fall with her business; she won first place at the Babson semi-finals and landed a spot in the top 28 businesses in the nation.

She hopes to one day officially launch TB Indicator, in which she can sell the product to her target market and make a difference in the world. Through the NFTE competition, she was able to create her marketing plan for the first year and gain skills that would allow her to become a successful entrepreneur.
