The Affordable and Organic Soap Bar

Nowadays, soaps for sensitive skin and treatment for skin conditions are relatively expensive. However, two young entrepreneurs were able to create their own soaps finding a resolution. Eimear Feeney and Wiktoria Zebrowska are 16-year-olds who live in County Leitrim, Ireland. Their creation of Soaptazia produces handcrafted, natural shea butter soaps.

Their idea of Soaptazia started when loved ones were needing to buy expensive soaps in order to treat their sensitive skin and skin conditions. In order to resolve this, Eimear and Wiktoria did research on the ingredients and qualities of soap. The duo was able to theorize many brands add a substance into their products called Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). They later searched for an organic product that is versatile, delicate, and for all skin types. They came to the conclusion of shea butter. Shea butter has anti-inflammatory and healing properties.

Within two weeks, the product was a reality. They tested the soap on eczema and psoriasis skin types, and realized it helps heal and reduce many symptoms. The manufacture of SLS-free soap bars came to life, and even sold out very quickly at the Christmas Fair at their school in December 2019.

Soaptazia's primary goal is to create a product that is affordable and environmentally friendly. They have a variety of scents for their soap collection including Sweet Citrus, Coffee Strike, True Aloe, and Love Lavender.

Soaptazia is a Polish translation of "Soap Fantasy". Eimear and Wiktoria hope to grow into something bigger, such as having their product be sold at shops and pharmacies. They dream of collaborating with bigger companies and eventually become a worldwide company.
