Learn STEM Concepts in Under Five Minutes

buildthefutureblog

Have you ever wanted to learn a concept in the STEM field but didn't have enough time? Well, Nitro Learn is here to help you accomplish that. Nitro Learn is an organization that aims to alleviate the inequalities in STEM through fast-paced videos that teach concepts in the field.

They provide free and accessible YouTube videos that are under five minutes long. The organization has currently been teaching Python, a programming language.

Pavan, a 14-year-old from the DC metropolitan area, is the founder of Nitro Learn. Pavan noticed the impact of economic and gender inequalities in the STEM field. In addition, Pavan noticed that most free and widely available courses, especially with programming, tended to have very long durations and required much focus. Pavan decided to create short, informative videos that could teach concepts as quickly as possible, with the goal of under five minutes. Pavan chose YouTube as the organization's platform in order to make their videos the most accessible.

The name of the organization, Nitro Learn, promises fast-paced, high quality videos. The organization has created over 20 videos ever since it launched about two months ago. They are currently trying to gain more connections to expand their organization and be more well-known.

In the future, they hope to set up free workshops to help teach concepts. They also hope to collaborate with other organizations who are looking to educate students within the STEM field.
